28-year-old Serayne Kematch of Onion Lake, was last seen on April 10 of this year near Alcurve in the RM of Britannia.
Since his disappearance, Mounties have been searching for him and have issued multiple media releases in an attempt to find answers regarding his whereabouts.
“Serayne has now been missing for three months. Over that time, we’ve searched for him on land, water and by air, and followed up on every lead and tip received from the public. We will continue our search until he is found, and continue to encourage the public to report any information they may have on his whereabouts. Even if it seems insignificant, report it. It may be the lead we need to bring Serayne home to his family,” said Sgt. Jolyne Harrison from Maidstone RCMP in July.
Maidstone RCMP sent out a media release this morning stating that on Monday they received a report of human remains found in a pasture about 10 kilometres north of Alcurve.
Further investigation done by the RCMP and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service determined the deceased is Kematch.
His family has been notified and RCMP stated that his death is considered not suspicious, and they aren’t able to provide further details.
