Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation will head back to the polls just months after a previous election.
The band held an election this past April where Peter A. Beatty was elected as chief.
However, issues with the elction lead the band to call a by-election.
The by-election will be held for the position of chief, and two councillor positions from Deschambault Lake.
5 people are vying for the position as chief.
They include: Peter A. Beatty, Elisha Bear Morin, Ovide Michel, Darren Morin, and Hector Morin.
5 people are also running for the two councillor positions.
Advanced polls will begin in various locations on November 7 with the regular voting day on November 12.
