Waterhen Lake First Nation held their election this past Friday.
In the vote, the band members chose to re-elect Blaine Fiddler as the nation’s chief.
The First Nation also chose 6 councilor positions.
Filling out the council is Peter Bouvier, Jacqueline Manderscheid, Dean Martell, Carolyn Bernard, Joanne Roy, and Ableheza Ernest.
This iteration of the Waterhen Lake First Nation Chief and Council will serve a two-year term.
