This week has marked the second anniversary of the unsolved death of a Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation man in Saskatoon.

Aaron Gamble was found dead in the city on March 23, 2023.

To this day, no one has been arrested or charged in relation to Gamble’s death even though police believe foul play was involved.

Gamble’s sister Emilia Greyeyes continues to hold out hope that the mysteries around his death will be solved.

“I only wish for people to come forward now. Someone knows something and who is involved. Aaron did not deserve what happened to him”, said Emilia Greyeyes in a media release sent out by the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations to mark the two-year anniversary.

“Today marks the two-year anniversary of Aaron’s death, the family needs peace, this has continued harm for them and for Aaron’s community,” said FSIN 4th Vice Chief Craig McCallum.

Anyone who may have any information on the death of Aaron Gamble is asked to contact authorities.
