Saskatchewan RCMP’s Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team (CRT) seized illicit drugs following a traffic stop in Meadow Lake, SK.
On February 26, 2025 at approximately 10 p.m., RCMP officers with the Meadow Lake CRT initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving a business on the 100 block of 9th Street West in Meadow Lake, SK. Officers determined the adult female driver’s license was suspended and the driver was arrested.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located and seized 27 grams of methamphetamine, 15 grams of cocaine, an imitation firearm, $675 in cash, and unstamped tobacco.
As a result of investigation, 27-year-old Alexis Siewert from Meadow Lake, SK is charged with:
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code; and
- one count, possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88(1), Criminal Code.
Alexis Siewert is scheduled to appear in provincial court in Meadow Lake on April 28, 2025 (Information #90553867).
