A 37-year-old Battleford man has been fined $3,500 after pleading guilty to two wildlife-related charges.

Yesterday, Neal Lloyd Meechance pleaded guilty to falsifying a wildlife export licence, and acting as a guide without being hired as one.

In return, the Crown withdrew seven other charges against him during an appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court.

The charges relate to two incidents in March, 2009 and November, 2008.
