A Metis women’s organization wants to see an inventory of services available to women looking for help from violence.

Melanie Omeniho is the President of Women of the Métis Nation and recently attended a National forum to end violence against Aboriginal women.

She says the program inventory was one of the ideas from the conference.

Omeniho says they also recommend working with justice departments to develop a resource tool to address violence in Métis communities.
