Buffalo Play Outdoors
Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 15:32
A play about a buffalo searching for its herd is hitting not only the road but heading outdoors.
Born Buffalo, by Askiy Productions, was written by Alanis King.
She is originally from Manitoulin Island and embarked on this play to learn and understand more about the buffalo’s significance here on the prairies.
The shows are free, and there will also be free drama workshops for children in the afternoons before the evening performances.
The first show is this coming Tuesday in Saskatoon.
Born Buffalo will also be performed in Prince Albert National Park, La Ronge, Meadow Lake, as well as Buffalo Pound, Sask Landing and Echo Valley provincial parks.
