Conservation officers from across North America are meeting in Saskatoon this week.
The members will be swapping ideas and stories as well as sharing best practices out in the field.
Kerry Wrishko is a conservation officer and spokesman for the event.
He says the meeting gives everyone a chance to hear what’s going on out there, and help one another with various challenge.
“Certainly in years gone by. We had certain agencies that were not supplying safety equipment to officers, their fellow officers were banding together to push the agencies for the same equipment.”
The meeting runs until Friday.
