The Saskatchewan Watershed Authority says last weekend’s rainstorm was felt one hundred kilometres north of the Churchill River.
The authority says the rainfall did not however get up to Reindeer Lake.
Authority spokesman Dale Hjertaas says the Haultain River north of Pinehouse did feel the effects of the storm though.
Flows in the Haultain have increased from 28 cubic metres per second to 36 cubic metres.
Hjertaas says other streamflows north of the Churchill River will also go up but it shouldn’t be by a drastic amount.
