Rally Set For Queen City

Five speakers are gathering for a rally in Regina to talk about how violence, and the murder of loved ones, has changed their lives forever.

Kelly Quewezance is an organizer and says most of the speakers come from Regina’s North Central area.

Quewezance says one speaker in particular is an inspiration for him – a woman who survived being run over after she intervened in a fight.

“She was dragged for three blocks underneath a car in the city here 4 or 5 years ago as she was outside a club trying to break up a fight.”

Thursday’s rally and BBQ starts at 11:00 in the park on 4th Avenue next to the Rainbow Youth Centre.
