Teen Dies After Single Vehicle Accident

A 17-year-old youth was killed in a single vehicle accicent near the Moosomin First Nation Saturday.

Forty-five-year-Melvin Swiftwolfe will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court tomorrow in connection with that accident.

RCMP spokesman Sargeant Paul Dawson says Swiftwolfe faces a string of charges such as Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death, Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Driving While Suspended.

Dawson notes the accident occurred in the afternoon, off a main grid road.
