Golden Band Adds To La Ronge Gold Belt Holdings

Cameco has agreed to sell two of its properties located in the La Ronge Gold Belt.

Both the Preview Lake and Little Deer Lake properties are falling into the hands of Golden Band Resources.

The two pieces of land are located 60 km north of La Ronge along Highway 102.

In a release, Golden Band says both properties offer excellent exploration and development potential.

The two projects saw considerable exploration, dating back to 1979, which led to the discovery of the gold mine at Contact Lake.

Cameco says the move is consistent with its strategy of focusing on uranium.
