Four men accused in last year’s slaying of Raymond Gardypie in Regina will stand trial for second-degree murder at Court of Queen’s Bench.
The four accused appeared in Regina Provincial Court earlier this week for preliminary hearings.
The men going to trial are 21-year-old David Dylan Dustyhorn, 26-year-old Robert Glen Gordon, 23-year-old Joseph Abraham Kirkness and 23-year-old Ryan Leon Kay.
Two others charged in relation to the incident, 21-year-old Joshua Bird and a 19-year-old — who was 17 when he was charged and can’t be identified — were previously committed to stand trial for second-degree murder.
Gardypie was 26 years old when his body was discovered January 10th of last year.
No trial dates have been set.
