RCMP Search for Missing Red Pheasant Man

Battlefords RCMP say they’re doing their best to find a missing Red Pheasant First Nation man.

Forty-five-year-old Ronald William Peequaquat was last seen June 25th.

RCMP reported him missing on August 5th.

His uncle, George Peequaquat, says it seems that when non-Aboriginal people are missing, police pursue those cases harder.

But Sargeant Darcy Woolfitt says that’s not true.

Woolfitt says the investigation into the case is still active and several searches have been done.
