Man In Hospital After Struck by Vehicle

A 38-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on the Gordon First Nation over the weekend.

RCMP say the man was found unconscious with serious injuries at around 7 o’clock Saturday morning.

The suspected driver of the vehicle was found at the scene and arrested.

The accused is facing charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, assault causing bodily harm and driving while disqualified.

He makes his first court appearance tomorrow morning in Punnichy.
