RCMP say a major drug bust over the weekend at a South Saskatchewan – U.S. border has three men from B.C. facing drug conspiracy charges.

25-year-old Brock Ernest Palfrey of Silverstar, BC and 50-year-old William Bruce Larsen of Coldstream, BC appeared in Regina Provincial Court earlier this afternoon.

A third man, 28-year-old Ronald Charles Learning, of Golden, B.C. appeared in a B.C. court this morning.

All three men face charges of conspiracy to import cocaine and conspiracy to export ecstasy.

According to RCMP spokesperson, Sgt. Paul Dawson, the Regina Integrated Drug Unit seized 30 kilograms of cocaine and a hundred thousand tablets of ecstasy totaling a street value of over 2 million dollars.

Dawson adds the investigation involved several law enforcement partners– including the United States Department of Homeland Security—and more announcements will follow in the coming days.
