Yesterday the Prince Albert Grand Council officially welcomed three new senators into the fold.

John Morin of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation, Phillip Head of the Red Earth First Nation and James Burns of the James Smith Cree Nation were each presented with a Starblanket and welcomed into the fold.

The PAGC’s A.J. Felix says their appointments and the creation of a new senate act is all part of trying to reach out to the grassroots.
