A 19-year-old man charged after a shooting incident at Red Earth First Nation made his first court appearance today.
Davis Demery Lester Whitehead faces several charges including attempted murder using a firearm.
He was in court Wednesday and is scheduled to return Thursday.
Whitehead was arrested following a standoff at a home on the reserve which lasted several hours.
The RCMP Emergency Response Team was called in after the windshield of a police vehicle was shot out early Tuesday morning.
Three other men arrested after the incident have been released without being charged.
There were no injuries reported and the investigation continues.
