A Saskatchewan man declared a long term offender for sexual and drinking offences received another sentence yesterday.

Albert Bull was sentenced in North Battleford Provincial Court to one month in jail for violating terms of his release by drinking.

In June, Bull was found passed out in a Little Pine First Nation home after drinking.

He has been on remand since then.

Judge Dan O’Hanlon said Bull knows when he drinks, he can end up committing sexual offences with children.

He told Bull if he violates release terms again, he could be jailed for life.

Bull was sentenced to seven months in jail — but he got one-and-a-half days credit for every day spent on remand, which resulted in the one-month sentence.
