A trial has been ordered for a La Ronge man charged with first-degree murder.
Twenty-one-year-old Jimmy David Douglas Ross is accused of killing 23-year-old Jason Charles, also of La Ronge.
On September 18th, RCMP officers were called out to a report of an unconscious man at a reserve home.
When they got there, they discovered Charles was, in fact, dead.
He has elected to be tried by judge and jury and also has chosen to forego a preliminary hearing.
