An order barring a Calgary-based law firm from holding Independent Assessment Hearings with residential school survivors has been lifted.
It was last week that the firm Blott and Company was ordered by a court in British Columbia to cease all of its hearings.
Few details about why the court made the order were given.
A lawsuit against the firm was originally filed in October by Larry Fontaine and a group of other people.
The Office of the Indian Residential Schools Secretariat is advising anyone represented by Blott and Company to get in touch with the company directly for information about their claims.
At the same time the office says an investigation will take place into some complaints received about the company.
