Regina Police are warning the public about a “high-risk sexual offender’ who is now living in the city.
Police say 45-year-old William Bill Tedjuk is living in the Heritage neighbourhood of Regina in a residence that provides supervision and monitoring of his activities.
Officials say Tedjuk has a history of committing violent sexual offences against female children and adults.
He is Aboriginal, 5’5″ tall, weighs 139 lbs., and has black hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos on his arms and chest.
Tedjuk must not be in or near places where children under the age of 18 are likely to congregate, such as schools, parks, swimming pools and recreational centres.
He must also avoid alcohol and drugs.
Anyone with questions about Tedjuk, or who has knowledge of him violating one of his conditions, is asked to contact Regina Police or Crime Stoppers.
Police also stress this is not an excuse for vigilante behaviour or unreasonable conduct towards Tedjuk.
