A forensic anthropologist has been consulted after a human skull was found on the Sakimay First Nation.
RCMP say the discovery was made April 13th by two band members who were walking in a secluded area.
Police say the partial skull is believed to be that of an Aboriginal male who was approximately 18-to-22 years old.
The time of death is estimated to be 5-to-10 years ago, but the identity of the remains is unknown.
Broadview RCMP continue the investigation.
