An ATV accident on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation has left a teenager in hospital in serious condition.
Paramedics say the 17-year-old victim had serious injuries when they arrived on the scene shortly before 8:00 last night.
It is believed she was not wearing a helmet.
The victim was transported to Saskatoon’s Royal University Hospital.
Paramedics say this incident underscores the importance of ATV operators wearing a helmet, following the rules of the road and knowing how to safely operate an ATV.
