Charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm and leaving the scene of an accident have been laid against a 23-year-old La Ronge woman.

La Ronge RCMP allege Naomi Roberts was behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian on the Bigstone reserve at about 3:00 a.m. on July 7th.

The victim, a 30-year-old woman from the Meadow Lake area, was hospitalized for minor injuries but has since been released.

Roberts will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on August 13th to face the charges.
