The 40th Saskatchewan Summer Games begin in just a couple of days in Meadow Lake.
Roughly 2,000 athletes are expected to participate in the Games.
Games manager Roberta Patterson says the Meadow Lake Tribal Council has helped out a lot.
Patterson says about 1,000 volunteers are helping to stage the event — including many people from surrounding reserves.
Officially, the Games run from July 29th to August 4th — but competition doesn’t begin until Monday.
