An official with the Keewatin Yatthe Regional Health Authority is confirming that two paramedics in Beauval have recently been fired.
Dale West says a new director of emergency services has since been hired.
He also says a review has been done and the region continues to work on improvements to the system.
The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics held a hearing earlier this year to discipline the two workers for professional misconduct.
The allegations are that the two faked the attendance of one of the workers at service calls for financial gain.
