A 49-year-old Saskatoon man is recovering in hospital after being beaten and stabbed during a home invasion last night.
The assault took place at around 10:30 p.m. in a home in the 700 block of Weldon Avenue.
The victim told officers that he was at home when three unknown men broke through the back door, beat and stabbed him, and searched his residence.
The three suspects are described as being of First Nations descent — with one male in his 20s with a slim build, short dark hair and wearing blue jeans. All three were wearing black and white bandannas.
Investigators believe the incident may be drug-related.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
