Recent snowfall in the Wakaw district is hampering the search for a missing First Nations man.
Thirty-eight-year-old Wilfrid Almightyvoice hasn’t been seen by anyone since October 20th, when he was dropped off by friends on the One Arrow Reserve around 1:00 a.m.
Almightyvoice doesn’t have a cell phone.
Sgt. Deon Marquis says they are focusing their search in the area near the reserve, but the weather has made that difficult:
“We’ve had lots of snow cover, which has made it difficult for us to search in the area in case he is out there.”
The RCMP is asking people in the vicinity of One Arrow, Rosthern or Duck Lake to check their properties for any sign of Almightyvoice.
He is about 6′ tall, weighs 210 lbs., and has a regular build and long black hair.
He was last seen wearing black pants, a blue jacket and a green bandana.
