Hundreds of protesters braved the cold in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert on Friday to take part in national Idle No More rallies.
In Regina, protesters marched down Albert Street before congregating at the legislative building.
In Saskatoon, they gathered at Kinsman Park and in Prince Albert protesters marched down 15th Street before spilling into city hall.
The Saskatchewan rallies were part of a national day of First Nations protest against the Harper government which culminated with a major demonstration on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
Protesters are upset with the federal government over Bill C-45 and what they say it means for First Nations rights in such areas as lands and water.
