The body of a missing aboriginal woman has been discovered on an East-Saskatchewan reserve.
RCMP say the body of 34 year-old Emiline Kitchener was discovered in a field on the Shoal Lake First Nation.
She hadn’t been seen by her family since Christmas eve.
Since that time one person spotted her at a bar in Nipawin while her cell-phone was found to be active as recently as Jan. 11.
An autopsy is being performed to determine how the woman died.
At this point RCMP are not ruling out foul play.
No one from the force could be found to comment on the case.
Kitchener’s family identified the body.
She apparently has ties to Sturgeon Lake and The Pas.
