The Regina Police says it is moving the file regarding the disappearance of Tamra Keepness to its cold case unit.

At the same time, the department says it is re-issuing a $25,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of the Aboriginal girl who disappeared almost a decade ago.

Police say they have followed up all leads that have come in since Keepness’ disappearance but to no avail.

The little girl was last seen in her home on the evening of July 5, 2004.

The next day family members noticed she was missing.

The police service hopes the reward will encourage anyone with information to step forward.
