A high-speed chase in Western Saskatchewan and parts of Alberta has resulted in a man being put behind bars.
Mounties say it was on Monday that they spotted their suspect, who was wanted on 21 outstanding warrants, while he was behind the wheel on the Onion Lake reserve.
They tried to stop him but he fled – driving over a spike belt in the process.
Corporal Roy Auger says they pursued the suspect to the Frog Lake reserve.
Twenty-seven-year-old Mathew Faithful faces numerous charges and is due to make court appearances in both Saskatchewan and Alberta.
