A Regina man has started a project which aims to put residential school survivors in touch with each other so they can share their stories.

Tony Stevenson says many residential school survivors who have been through the independent assessment process or adjudication have found these to be alienating experiences.

He says what residential school survivors need is a forum where they can discuss how this experience affected them with others who have been through it themselves.

Stevenson says he is in the process of faxing out letters to various band offices which will hopefully put him in touch with residential school survivors in each of the communities.
