An Aboriginal jobs conference concluded in Saskatoon Wednesday with an address from First Nations actor Adam Beach.
Beach is well known for his roles in such CBC shows as North of 60 and Arctic Air.
He says there is no doubt young Aboriginal people face their fair share of obstacles starting out, but it is important to never lose sight of your dreams.
“And if you look at my story today,” he says. “I could say I am a victim, I could say I’m a survivor, but I don’t let those words stop me from the passion and the dreams I have in my mind.”
Inclusion Works 13 began on Monday.
