Six Saskatchewan First Nations remain under emergency flood watch.
The First Nations are Muscowpetung, Cowessess, James Smith, Sakimay, Onion Lake and Poundmaker.
Duane McKay, with government relations, says a number of residents on the Onion Lake First Nation remain under evacuation watch.
“In the Onion Lake area, we still have individuals out their homes there,” he says. “One individual currently and ten others on alert for evacuation. There’s still some runoff north of that area and some threat to access roads.”
Government officials continue to monitor a number of Saskatchewan communities as the spring melt continues.
