The aunt of a missing teen from the Muskowekan First Nation says there is a chance he could still be found alive even though he has been missing for nearly two-and-a-half years.
This morning, a search for 17-year-old Cody Wolfe resumed in the Lestock area. Myrna LaPlante says the family wants closure:
“So we need answers, that is what the family wants, we want to know where is Cody? Has he perished? Is he alive out there somewhere? We don’t know.”
Wolfe was attempting to walk from his grandmother’s house to a friend’s home on April 29th, 2011, when he became lost. He sent a text message to his friend. That was the last communication from him.
For the next three days, volunteer searches with the aid of dogs trained in water searches are combing the area where he sent that message.
Numerous ground, aerial and water searches over the last couple of years have failed to turn up any clues.
