Two of the accused in a double murder on the Standing Buffalo First Nation have been committed to stand trial on murder charges.
Twenty-one-year-old Brittany Bear and 22-year-old Kody Bear are each facing two counts of first-degree murder.
They are charged with killing 27-year-old Jessica Redman and 28-year-old Sheldon Yuzicappi last October.
Kody Bear was committed to trial following his preliminary hearing, which wrapped up in Fort Qu’Appelle yesterday.
Brittany Bear had been previously ordered to stand trial after a hearing last month.
No trial dates have been set.
An 18-year-old, who was 17 at the time, is also charged — but his identity is not being released because of his age.
