A 42-year-old man is dead following a weekend boating accident on Wollaston Lake.
RCMP say the call about the missing person came in around 7:00 Saturday
morning.
A young male with a life jacket managed to swim to shore.
A search involving police and local volunteers was conducted and the victim’s body was found in the lake around 3:30 that afternoon.
Sergeant Greg Heurer of the Wollaston Lake detachment says an autopsy was not ordered by the Coroner.
The victim’s name has not been released.
