Saskatoon police are looking for the public’s help regarding the death of an elderly Aboriginal man which is considered suspicious.
On Aug. 19, around 9:45 p.m. in the evening, officers were dispatched to a call of an injured man in the 200-block area of Avenue I North.
When they arrived, the victim, 77-year-old James Favel, appeared to have head injuries.
He was taken to hospital and died of his injuries on Aug. 31.
An autopsy was conducted yesterday and investigators say results indicate head injuries led to his death.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and seen or heard anything suspicious.
