Three companies owned by Athabasca Basin Development have made SaskBusiness magazine’s official top 100 companies list.

Team Drilling placed 76th, Points Athabasca 79th and West Wind Aviation 90th.

The rankings were revealed at a gala in Regina on Sept. 4 and will be in this month’s issue of the magazine.

Athabasca Basin Development CEO Geoff Gay says in a release, “As an investment company, we are committed to growing and supporting successful businesses. To have three of our investments reach such a milestone says a lot about the level of success each of these companies has reached.”

Team Drilling provides drilling services to the mining and exploration industry, Points Athabasca is an Aboriginal contracting company specializing in industrial construction and West Wind Aviation provides airline services which link northern Saskatchewan to other parts of the province.

Athabasca Basin Development is an investment firm with ownership in ten companies and consolidated revenues of over $140 million annually.

It has been in existence since 2002.
