Members of a First Nation in Saskatchewan’s far north headed to the polls on Friday.
The Fond du Lac Denesuline First Nation was holding elections for chief and council.
Incumbent chief Earl Lidguerre is seeking a second term in office.
Lidguerre was first elected two years ago when he defeated Napoleon Mercredi.
Mercredi and fellow challenger Felix McDonald were Lidguerre’s competition in this election.
