Next week’s vice-chief election for the Saskatoon Tribal Council is a six-person race.
Incumbent Geraldine Arcand is seeking her third term in office.
She has been vice-chief since the post was created five years ago.
Arcand is one of three members of the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation running in the election.
Mark Arcand and Paul Wilfred Ledoux are the others.
Mel McGhee of the Whitecap Dakota First Nation, Dwayne Paul of the One Arrow First Nation and Mistawasis band member Beverly Wise are the other candidates in the race.
The voting takes place next Thursday at the Dakota Dunes Casino.
