The general evacuation order for Stanley Mission has been lifted.
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band made the announcement late Monday afternoon.
The LLRIB says the fire is no longer an immediate threat to the community.
However, it is still strongly advised that elders, children under two-years-of-age, those with respiratory problems and pregnant women remain out of the community due to the potential health risks of smoke inhalation.
A reassessment of air quality will be made on Tuesday afternoon.
Hwy 915 to Stanley Mission is now reopened.
For those staying at the Jonas Roberts Memorial Community Centre in La Ronge, buses will begin running at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning to take residents back to Stanley Mission.
For those returning by private vehicle from La Ronge, Saskatoon and Prince Albert – financial assistance for gas is available through the Red Cross.
For more information contact the Red Cross at 1-888-953-3463.
