A man charged with manslaughter in the deaths of two men in a Uranium City house fire four years ago made his first court appearance today in Prince Albert.

Twenty-nine-year-old Michael LaRocque of Stony Rapids will next be in court in La Ronge on Thursday for a bail hearing.

LaRocque was arrested and charged over the weekend — almost four-and-a-half years after the bodies of Jack Cochrane and Philip Nighttraveller were found in a burned out mobile home near Uranium City.

Their remains were found following a house fire in the early morning hours of January 4th, 2010.

The suspect remains in custody.
