A Saskatoon man originally from the Beardy’s Okemasis First Nation who had gone missing has been tracked down.

Twenty-two-year-old Skyler Cameron had been missing from his Saskatoon residence in the 500 block of Gladmer Park since July 3rd.

Family members were growing increasingly concerned because they said it was unusual behavior for him to just suddenly disappear.

They had tried searching for him along the city’s riverbank, downtown and west side — and police had even tried to trace the location of his phone.

But earlier today, Saskatoon police indicated they spoke to Cameron last evening, who said he was with family members travelling to a pow wow.

His cousin, Kevin Seeseequasis, said this morning that he hadn’t yet spoken to him — but he confirmed that he had been found safe.

Meanwhile, Saskatoon police say the 56-year-old subject of a missing person investigation has been located and found safe.

Jerry McCallum had been reported missing after leaving the Royal University Hospital where he was being treated.

RCMP have since notified Saskatoon police that McCallum traveled to his home in Sandy Bay after leaving the hospital.

McCallum did not tell officials where he was going.
