La Ronge RCMP are on the lookout for a suspect wanted on a Canada Wide warrant.
Police says officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the town this morning in but the driver took off.
The driver was identified as 23-year-old Dylan Lewis and the vehicle was later located near an apartment block.
Officers entered the building but Lewis was already gone.
Lewis is six-foot-one, 200-pounds with short hair and tattoos on his neck.
Police say he has a history of violence and weapons offences, is wanted on a parole violation and should not be approached.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 23-year-old Dylan Lewis is asked to contact La Ronge RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
