A sexual harassment complaint against former Metis Nation – Saskatchewan presidential candidate Robert Doucette has been dismissed by the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission.

The complaint was filed last year against Doucette and METSI, while Doucette was still a manager at METSI’s Saskatoon office.

The Commission ruled there was no merit to the complaint forwarded by Sandra Arias, noting that no one could vouch for the accuracy of her story.

Doucette was suspended from his position at METSI over the matter.

It’s not clear if he will be reinstated.

Arias has been given 30 days to file an appeal.
