Two 16-year-old boys have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a teenage girl in Regina.
Police found the body of the 16-year-old girl in a north Regina home late Monday afternoon after responding to a report of an unresponsive person.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is the city’s first confirmed homicide of the year.
The suspects, who are from Regina, were scheduled to appear in youth court this morning.
Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, their names cannot be released.
